Vacation Time

I will be on vacation for about a week. I am going to take a few days to catch up on inventory, then I am going with Brandy to the Oregon Coast and staying at the casino from the 10th to the 12th. I have been rethinking some strategy's and one of them was to close the Artfire shop. It was pretty dead over there and I wasn't feeling a good vibe with the drama that has gone on over there. I decided that its time to revamp my own website, so that will be one of my focuses this year. Eventually I can hire someone to make a kick ass site, but for now I will have to stick with paypal cart, because I am not very html literate.

I have been kind of depressed the last couple of months, I think its the lack of sun here in Oregon, but I am hoping with the spring in a few weeks that my mood will turn around fast. The transition of moving from California to Oregon has been a little bit harder than I expected. The Saturday market is over saturated here with soap makers, and the really good craft shows in the Portland area and Seattle area have been hard to get accepted to. I am thinking its because I am like the new kid on the block and others have had established relationships. Etsy has also been a bit slower than it has been in the past, but the bills get paid on time or ahead of time, which is a good thing.

I have a ton of fragrances I am going to be getting rid of this year. Not generally my usual stock, but extras I have bought in the past and haven't used. My fragrance shelf is stuffed to the brim and if I don't do this, I think I will lose my mind. So be sure to keep checking back, because there will be alot of limited editions this year... and I mean alot.

Sorry to hear about that Dennis :( I tend to get the same thing living in the snowy north of Canada, and find I have to tan to try and get more vitamin D.

Speaking of Canada... it's too bad you didn't have a maple sugar or syrup type soap for the games or something water/forest based to represent Vancouver ;)

Hey Dennis, I got the soaps today and I LOVE them. You are so far the best soap maker that I have found in Etsy and I will keep buying your soaps.
I hope that you feel better, we have nice sun days in Eugene, I hope Portland is the same!!!
